Mölnlycke, a medical device manufacturer in Wiscasset, ME, is seeking full-time Warehouse Operator for 3rd Shift (10:00PM – 6:00AM) to support our manufacturing of healthcare products worldwide. We are looking for people who are passionate about helping others and work well in a team based environment.

What we offer:

  • Entry-level position with comprehensive, on-the-job paid training

  • Work schedule:

  • Monday – Friday

  • 10:00PM – 6:00AM

  • Workdays and hours may vary depending on operational needs; occasional overtime and weekend work may be required

  • $20.60 an hour to start

  • $2.00 shift differential between the hours of 5:30pm to 5:30am

  • *Sign-on/retention bonus is paid $250 in third paycheck and $750 after successful completion of introductory period.

    What you’ll do:

  • Receive incoming raw material shipments per company policy. Accurately review and complete all appropriate paperwork and documentation. Label and put raw materials away using FIFO organization.

  • Receive misc. shipments from UPS/Fed Ex/USPS etc. and deliver packages to recipient(s) and confirm accuracy.

  • Prepare outgoing shipments and confirm shipment accuracy by coordinating with production, planning, inventory control, and QA.

  • Inspect all hazardous waste storage areas and complete appropriate documentation as required. Assist with hazardous waste removal process as needed.

  • Participate in weekly support inventory checks to ensure common materials are kept in stock. Communicate any findings to WH lead for ordering.

  • Coordinate removal of recyclable waste material(s) as needed.

  • Participate in physical inventory as scheduled.

  • Assist with stocking and re-stocking of production, and packaging areas with raw materials as needed promoting FIFO processes.

  • Assist with putting away excess raw materials in warehouse.

  • Transfers Material in a timely manner accurately with-in SAP when moving materials in the warehouse from location to location.

  • Ability to meet the key requirements of a SWC Production Technician and Production Operator and assist team members in this capacity when required.

  • Participates in making modifications to work instructions and/or procedures as necessary.

  • Communicate with QA, EHS, Planning, Manufacturing, R&D, and Maintenance pertinent information regarding the status of raw materials .

  • Responsible for the safe operation of assigned tasks.

  • Shows concern for work area by maintaining a clean and organized work area.

  • Responsible for performing and recording daily equipment inspections.

  • Supports the effort to implement best practices within job scope; expected to participate in activities designed to improve production, quality and environmental health and safety (EHS).

  • Support training of Warehouse Operators.

    What you’ll need:

  • Pre-employment physical, background check, and at least 2 professional references required

  • Proven success working in a team-based environment as well as the ability to meet performance measures with minimal direct supervision and guidance

  • Ability to make well-reasoned decisions both independently and as part of a team

  • Effective communication and organization skills

  • Basic mechanical, mathematical, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)

  • Ability to work overtime to ensure production goals are met

  • Over 75% of the workdays are spent walking or standing

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Regular handling, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, and grasping

  • Close vision and color vision are required

  • Ability to wear a respirator

  • Experience in production, manufacturing or related environment preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to obtain certification for operating typical warehouse equipment (i.e. fork lift, scissor lift, pallet jack, etc.) within orientation period.

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and identify issues with shipping such as labeling problems, container issues, or related compliance or safety issues.
