AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Winter Garden

AHMG Cardiology in Winter Garden is also looking for a dynamic and non-invasive cardiologist to join our team at our Winter Garden location. This physician will help support the market in Winter Garden in association with physicians and advanced practice providers at our Apopka and Winter Garden campuses. Responsibilities to include noninvasive, general cardiology.

Responsibilities will include both inpatient and outpatient care, in addition to group call coverage which will be shared amongst the physicians in the practice. AHMG Cardiology at Winter Garden is a growing and established practice, part of our West Orange team, consisting of interventional, electrophysiology and general cardiologists.

Requirements for the position : Board Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty board certification in Cardiovascular Disease. High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.

The AdventHealth Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute is one of the busiest centers of its kind in the nation. We are a leading provider of cardiovascular and thoracic services among Medicare patients with national rankings that include: #1 in Cardiology volume, #1 in Vascular Surgery volume, #5 in Thoracic Surgery volume and #8 in Open Heart Surgery volume. The AH HLVI is centered in a tertiary facility known as AdventHealth Orlando within the Ginsburg Tower. This 15-story sanctuary of healing offers patients a full range of comprehensive heart and vascular care, including 12 hybrid operating rooms housing electrophysiology, vascular and invasive cardiology.

Practice Description

This is an employment opportunity part of AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG). AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs over 700 physicians in nearly 70 specialties. The West Orange Division of AdventHealth includes AdventHealth Winter Garden, and AdventHealth Apopka. AdventHealth Winter Garden is a state-of-the-art emergency facility featuring board-certified physicians trained in the care of both adults and children. The 97,415-square-foot, three-story facility opened in February 2016 across from Winter Garden Village at Fowler Groves.
