Novant Health Lactation Consultant in Winston Salem, North Carolina
Novant Health is seeking a part-time Lactation Consultant at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem to help women with their breastfeeding and child care questions and concerns. Provides guidance to patients, families, staff, and community in delivering education, information and training that responds to individualized needs in accordance with the current policies and procedures. Schedule:
This is a pt 24 hour per week position, the schedule is 7A-7P.
This position requires a current IBLCE certification.

Education: High School Diploma or GED, Required. Bachelor's Degree, Preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in mother/baby care or breast feeding education, Required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current IBCLC certification, Required. Current RN licensure in appropriate state, Preferred.
Additional Skills (Required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Excellent customer service skills.
