WE ARE LOOKING FOR A ENGINEER III – SVCS/ PROJ MGMT

Director – Project Engineering

Internal -Manufacturing Staff, Technical Staff, and manufacturing personnel

External - Contract Engineering Firms, Contract System Integrators, 3rd Party Contractors

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Demonstrate proficiency in functional processes, technology, and engineering practices.

  • Engage with internal business partners to ensure that technical decisions are based on the broad vision of the organization and achieve optimum results.

  • Develop and ensure appropriate timelines, milestones, cost estimates, and project objectives are achieved

  • Identify, evaluate, specify, and select appropriate technologies, vendors, and construction services consistent with short-term and long-term requirements.

  • Ensure project evaluations and implementations are in line with economic, personnel, environmental, product quality, machine performance, and engineering related requirements.

  • Identify and drive innovative solutions to address business/process opportunities and issues.

  • Develops partnership with external vendors, agencies, suppliers, and service providers to drive business success and enhance effectiveness of processes.

  • Drives continuous improvement by identifying root cause of issues and implementing new methods or technology to enhance effectiveness and drive business success.

  • Manage capital projects including estimating, specifying equipment, controlling project costs and maintaining project timelines.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Engineer III - Projects: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or; Licensure as a Professional Engineer, entry level experience - Associate Degree in Engineering or related field. Work experience a plus.

  • Expertise with PLC’s, SCADA, HMI’s, and related equipment

  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills with an ability to recommend continuous improvements

  • Demonstrates self-motivation, personal leadership, and the ability to lead and develop the team

  • Ability and commitment to drive change and improvements.

  • Strong desire to learn, understand and apply technologies.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

BENEFICIAL

  • Engineering experience within a regulated environment

  • Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) applications.

  • Equipment and/or process design and development
