Millerbernd Manufacturing Co. Master Electrician in Winsted, Minnesota

NOW HIRING: Millerbernd Manufacturing is hiring a Master Electrician to join our team on day shift! The Master Electrician is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Department by performing preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on all production and facility equipment.

As a Master Electrician, you will:

  • Installs/maintains electrical equipment

  • Focus on control panels, junction boxes, switches, and motors

  • Experienced in testing and diagnostics

  • Performs wiring of equipment, circuits start switches etc.

  • Follows daily/weekly scheduled work priorities

  • Replaces light fixtures, ballasts, fuses

  • Clean up area following all maintenance services

  • Understands wiring diagrams

  • Collaborates with others on problem solving issues

  • Connect and disconnect power from machines

  • Expresses logic in the determination of method / sequence of operations and selection of materials.

  • Requires Journey license

  • Independently trouble shoots to identify and resolve issues

  • Determines root cause, documents and reports correction

  • Subject matter expert; requires limited to no technical guidance

  • Approves wiring plans for new installations and performs work as required

    Role qualifications as a Master Electrician:

  • Preferred candidates will have a Master Electrician’s License and at least 2 years of experience troubleshooting/ repairing manufacturing equipment. Other combinations of formal training and experience will be considered

  • Proficient interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

  • Valid electrician license in good standing

  • Troubleshoot and make repairs to production equipment

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install electrical panels and all associated wiring

  • Work independently with little supervision

The actual base salary for this role is based on various factors, including but not limited to market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The range provided is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

  • For this role, 1st shift has a variety of schedule options Monday - Friday on day shift

  • 8-hour shifts (per day) including paid breaks (1st and 2nd shifts)

  • Voluntary Overtime is available
