Millerbernd Manufacturing Co. Developer (Hybrid or On-Site) in Winsted, Minnesota

NOW HIRING: Millerbernd Manufacturing is hiring a Developer to join our team! The Developer is responsible for the creation and support of business applications, reporting and analytics to drive efficient operational excellence within the manufacturing and office environments. We are a Microsoft shop and have a hybrid environment with systems both on-premise and in the cloud.

As a Developer, you will:

  • Support full lifecycle management of business and shop floor applications, reports, and analytics – analysis, design, construction, testing, release, and maintenance

  • Write SQL queries and create effective and user-friendly reports

  • Create and maintain business analytics views and dashboards to support strategic planning and decisions

  • Maintain user rights and privileges for business applications, reports, and analytics

  • Provide business functionality support to key business users across all levels for applications, reports, and analytics, ensuring pro-active interaction and communication

  • Document business processes and workflows

  • Support code management within systems implemented at Millerbernd Manufacturing, including performing peer reviews of team code and programming deliverables

  • Prioritize work assignments to maintain necessary delivery timelines and complete work on time and scope, multi-tasking as needed

  • Exhibit behaviors embedded in Millerbernd Manufacturing Core Values when interacting with co-workers

    Role Qualifications as a Developer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or a 2-year degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or Programming (preferred)

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, and .NET development (preferred)

  • Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (C# preferred)

  • Proficient in MS SQL query and report creation

  • Basic understanding of ERP functionality

  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills

  • Creative problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent active listening and solid communication skills – written and verbal

  • Self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively, adapting to a changing environment

  • Work effectively both independently and within a team

  • Familiarity with SSRS, relational databases, and content management solutions
