FULL TIME SHIFT SCHEDULES AVAILABLE: Monday-Friday 8:00AM - 4:00PM JOB SUMMARY: The Warehouse Specialist 2 is essential to timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Under general supervision, the Warehouse Specialist 2 will be assigned advanced assignments related to shipping, kitting or intra-company delivery via company vehicle, power forklifts and manually operated lifts. Warehouse Specialist 2 will also be required to flex into other areas of the warehouse as needed to perform all manner of material handling, product picking, special labeling and packing using handheld technology and inventory software systems. This position requires sustained moderate physical activity throughout the shift, including ability to crouch, climb, push, pull, reach, lift and carry.Warehouse Specialist Athletes will be assigned in varying work centers and it is essential that they are able to read their schedule and report to the correct work center on time for each scheduled shift. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: OKnowledgeable of current shipping software (Varsity) and other technology applications used in Distribution Operations. OUnderstands and completes various Transportation documents (shipping labels, BOL, air freight bills, etc). OResponsible for validating the correct UPC and SRP requirements for all large key account and mass merchant orders before they are processed and shipped. OTakes a shop pack and collects all parts in proper quantities to send to contract labor partners in kit form. ONegotiates pricing and time for completion, completes associated paperwork, provides instruction and follow-up as needed to ensure receipt of finished goods timely. OMay operate company vehicles including but not limited to box truck, forklift, and company leased or owned vehicles to deliver parts, equipment and supplies between buildings. OMay load/unload deliveries using power forklift and/or other manually operated lifts. OSorts and delivers in-house packages, parcels, and supplies to proper department or person. OReceives finished goods from Assembly. Verifies description, quality, quantity, and paperwork. Reports all deficiencies to leadership. ORestocks primary and secondary stock locations in a timely a d accurate manner. OMust enter data into computer database maintaining a very high level of accuracy. OFills customer orders from stock using a tablet computer in a timely, accurate manner and reviews items for final quality. OFulfills manufacturing departments Bill of Material (BOM) and supply orders and deliver to appropriate work center. OMaintains a 98% picking accuracy. OProperly packaging all product, including completion of special packaging requirements, determination of most efficient and economical packaging option, and ensure proper packing to OParticipates in cycle counts and year-end physical inventory. OPerforms general housekeeping and department six sigma activities. OAdheres to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures and Safety Requirements. OTreats others with respect and conducts themselves in a positive and inclusive manner daily. OPerforms other duties as assigned. EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: OHigh School Diploma or Equivalent OValid driver's license, with no moving violations in the last three years O6 months general warehouse or shipping/receiving experience GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: OClose attention to detail OUnderstand written instruction OProficient data entry skills and software applications including Microsoft Suite, Infor Powerlink/FMS, and the ability to learn new software programs as needed. OAbility to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining mental focus. OGeneral knowledge of warehouse, shipping, and receiving procedures. OProficient knowledge of manufacturing processes, order flow, bills of material, shop packets materials and supplies. OStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess relevant facts, identify alternative approaches and supply recommended solutions. OAbility to read and follow instruction OAbility to drive a power forklift and attain power forklift operator's certificate. OAbility to count accurately and perform simple math functions OAbility to inspect materials and finished products for defects OAbility to drive all company vehicles including daylight, nighttime and inclement weather conditions. OMaintain current certifications: - PIT - DOT Physical/License - Fall protection PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: OAbility to lift 25 lbs. OAbility to participate in a team lift of 50 lbs.
