Thermo King Northeast currently has an opening for a full-time HVAC/R Technician at our Windsor Locks, CT location.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of transport refrigeration units (TRU) and auxiliary power units (APU)
- Perform diagnostic, repair work on mobile refrigeration equipment, auxiliary power units and heater equipment
- Follow established technical and administrative processes
- Complete repair orders and parts usage forms
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members and customers
- Remain current on technical and regulation requirements
- Perform road service calls as required
Position Requirements:
- Experience in the field of refrigeration/HVAC equipment installation and/or repair
- Skills to sufficiently install, diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, materials, methods and equipment to perform, prioritize and complete job assignments
- Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical trade school a plus
- Proficient with computer operation/usage
- Valid driver's license
To have or be willing to earn EPA 608/609 refrigeration certifications is a big plus!
