The Ground Support Equipment (GSE) team is looking for an intern to support with financial and customer management task for the F-135 program. You will be assisting with preparing briefings for internal and customer status meetings. You will also support with financial tracking and monthly reports on multi-million dollar project budgets. You will coordinate status activity across a cross-functional team.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare agenda topics and compile meeting minutes for internal and customer facing discussions

• Track progress and hold team members accountable using rolling action item lists

• Create and modify Microsoft Project schedules based on real progress updates

• There is the potential that up to 10% of your time will be devoted to travel

  What You Will Learn:

• Gain experience efficiently communicating status updates to various stakeholders

• Learn how to create a schedule in Microsoft Project

• Tips on how to effectively guide a discussion and record concise meeting minutes

• How to draft a project charter and convert a budget into a time-phased execution plan

• The core principles of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

  Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  Qualifications We Prefer:

• Displays experience in Excel, including pivot table management.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
