Roles & Responsibilities:

The role will require you to leverage your engineering and leadership backgrounds to help develop Quest Global structural analysts.

  • Help drive compliance to Quest Global and customer standards and processes

  • Execute complex structural analysis projects

  • Communicate the technical purpose to new and seasoned engineers on customer's approach

  • Work with Technical and Team Leaders to define capability development requirements for entry level engineers

  • Mentor a team of mixed capability Quest Global engineers in the structures process by proactively engaging team members and developing processes, tools and best practices

  • Develop or improve upon work instructions and trainings to ensure discipline health

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a technical BS degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of aerospace experience in the structural analysis discipline with demonstrated leadership ability. Experience within the Gas Turbine Engine industry is preferred.

• Understanding of engineering principles which can include: Design, Structures, Performance Analysis, Operability

• Experience leading engineering teams

• Experience completing structural analysis tasks in the aerospace industry with composites experience highly recommended

• Familiarity with gas turbine fundamentals

• Experience with Technical Review process

• Assist with providing project assumptions during the quotation phase

• Proficiency with MS-Office Suite Tools, MS Project and PowerPoint Documents

• Personal Traits & Attributes: Responsible, Thorough, Organized, Service Oriented, Ability to Prioritize

• U.S. Citizen

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Mostly Office Environments

  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

  • Typical 40 hour work week
