Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a maintenance technician, your daily responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks. You will be tasked with repairing and improving our building and infrastructure, fabricating metal and wood, maintaining and repairing distribution center racking. You will assist our service technicians in repairing and maintaining our material handling equipment and our building's pneumatic system. We also expect you to complete preventive maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures. Your role will include performing battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries, and you will need to be proficient in email communication and data entry for our database. You will be responsible for tracking and storing the department's inventory, including spare parts. We also require your active participation in supporting continuous improvement in our department and maintaining a good working relationship across all levels in our organization. You will need to complete all safety training as assigned by the Company and comply with all our safety programs, policies, and procedures. From time to time, you may be required to perform additional duties or assignments as required by management.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 640 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Windsor, Connecticut.

Work Environment

This role is based in a brand-new, highly automated facility with robotic components. Please note that you must be comfortable with your performance being tracked by data and numbers. We do not micromanage, but we do have a system in place to understand if you are meeting expectations. Be prepared for potential growing pains due to the facility's novelty. All candidates must be open to any 12-hour shift, which may be either during the day or at night, from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.
