Description: A CTS / Powerplant Engineer is responsible for the creation and revision of technical data used during the inspection, repair, and overhaul of turbofan engines. Employees will communicate with their team and the customer to establish requirements and ensure accuracy. Documents created will be used to update engine manual procedures and establish overhaul shop visit scope of work. Individuals in this role will become familiar with turbofan engine maintenance documents and procedures during on the job training. Background knowledge in these areas is preferred, but not required to be successful in this role.
Job Duties:
Create and revise engine manual procedures and data
Create engine overhaul shop visit workscopes
Review and interpret applicable technical data
Communicate with the Belcan and customer teams via email and on conference calls
Required:
B.S. in Engineering
Strong skills in Microsoft Office products
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
Prior experience with Teamcenter
Background in aerospace industry
Experience with turbomachinery
Experience performing mechanical tasks and maintenance
Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $52,000-65,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
