Job Title: Academy Group Lead Location: Windsor, CT Company: TLD ACE Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Academy Group Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Academy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and training programs to participants seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development: Collaborate with Engineers and Production Supervisors to design comprehensive curricula covering various aspects of manufacturing, including processes, technologies, quality control, safety protocols, etc. Instructional Design: Develop engaging and effective instructional materials, including presentations, videos, hands-on exercises, and assessments, to facilitate learning among academy participants. Facilitation and Training: Lead training sessions for participants, providing high-quality instruction and support throughout their learning journey. Mentorship and Guidance: Provide guidance and mentorship to participants, assisting them in overcoming challenges, developing their skills, and achieving their learning goals. Program Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Academy, including scheduling training, coordinating logistics, tracking participant progress, and evaluating program effectiveness. Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the academy's programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure they remain current, relevant, and impactful. Team Leadership: Supervise and support trainees and foster a positive and collaborative team environment. Qualifications: Preferred* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Education, or related field 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, training, or education Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and best practices Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Proven leadership ability and experience managing teams Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and build effective partnerships Passion for education and a commitment to promoting lifelong learning If you believe you need a reasonable accommodation in order to search for a job opening or to submit an application, please at jobs.help@tld-america.com.
