Mechanical Design Engineer for a leading machinery manufacturer based near Winder, GA. This role is responsible to design new products and systems that meet company standards and customer requirements. To be considered - B.S degree in Engineering with at least two (2) years experience in machine design using Solidworks or related software within a manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S degree in Engineering

• Must have at least two (2) years experience in machine systems design within a manufacturing environment

• SolidWorks and AutoCAD (2D) experience

responsibilities:

• Develop designs for machinery using and ing engineering principles, research data and customer machine specifications

• Obtaining customer specifications and designing the mechanical components of the machinery

• Utilizing Solidworks as primary computer-aided design (CAD) platform for line layout creation / modification

• Clarify specifications, machine capabilities, resolve problems, review and develop designs

• Modify existing designs in equipment to meet performance specifications and customer requirements.

• Release parts for purchase and/or manufacturing
