job summary:

Immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer East of Lexington, KY. The ideal Manufacturing Engineer will have 3 plus years of experience, preferably in the Automotive Parts Manufacturing Industry or similar.

Must have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

• AutoCAD, ability to interpret product drawings and make tool and fixture drawings

• CNC machine tool programming and/or Fanuc robot programming

• PLC and HMI control system knowledge is a plus, not required

location: Winchester, Kentucky

salary: $75,000 - 95,000 per year

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

• Creates and revises production processes to reduce scrap, streamline manpower, improve part quality, and reduce overall costs.

• Works 60% on the production floor and 40% in an office.

• Investigate new technologies for production.

• Implement new production procedures.

• Troubleshoots production problems with chip control, machine crash recovery, stability, capability, short stoppages, and recurring machine operations problems.

• Manages documentation - SOP, control plans, FMEAs, forms, check-sheets, inspection records, and engineering drawings

• Leads Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen events
