Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Training Coordinator - Administrative.

This role is located in Wilsonville, OR. No relocation assistance will be provided.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $43499.97 - $63799.96 a year.

What you’ll do:

The Administrative Training Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling and tracking training for all PPC employees. The coordinator will evaluate the effectiveness and growth of new employees and help with the training process. Emphasis will be placed on instilling a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement and fostering that culture beyond the classroom onto the plant floor. The coordinator will also be the champion for the new Eaton University implementation and maintenance of the program.

Essential Functions:

• Provide support and assist with the upkeep of the cross-training matrix

• Collaborate with managers on creating training checklists for each function within the product line

• Support and facilitate the plant wide cross-training process

• Organize and document cross training methodologies and checklists

• Provide managers and HR updates on cross training within the facility

• Own and champion the Eaton University integration by creating courses, scanning in employees (new hire orientation, safety trainings, AEMs, standdowns, etc.), entering employee information and providing a report on outstanding employees awaiting their training

• Assist the EHS function with various trainings such as crane, forklift, manlift, height work, lock-out tag-out, etc.

• Stay up on date on corporate wide compliance trainings

• Collaborate with supervisors/team leads to ensure a smooth, efficient transition of trainees onto the plant floor with assigned trainers.

• Perform audits of the 30-60-90-day program for each product line/function

• Assist with new hire computer trainings and other compliance related tasks (benefits, direct deposit, etc.)

• Develop and communicate a yearly training calendar with all required trainings from each function (OPEX, quality, EHS, HR)

• Develop and update training materials

• Assist with audit preparation and material gathering

• Partner with functional leaders to update training records, develop/update training content, and ensure training compliance

• Flex into production as needed

• Lead by example in areas such as safety, Eaton’s leadership attributes, initiative, quality assurance, Continuous Improvement, and product knowledge

• Participate and lead continuous initiatives and support other projects as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned within the training function.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Three (3) years of manufacturing, military, warehouse or related field

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

  • No relocation assistance will be provided for this role. Only candidates that reside within a 50-mile radius of Wilsonville, OR will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred

  • Experience in training other people

  • Experience with document management

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc…)

  • Experience using other digital tools
