Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Controls Technician to work for a client in Wilsonville, Oregon. The Controls Technician is responsible for the electrical assembly of automation equipment per supplied drawings, schematics, and diagrams in accordance with company, industry, and customer standards. Works with industrial PCs, PLCs, servo motion controllers, motors, transducers, and sensors in an industrial automation environment. Machines may involve robots, machine vision, and lasers.

Skills and Requirements

• General understanding of industrial control systems, especially servo motion and robotics.

• Skilled in interpreting mechanical, electrical and pneumatic drawings, diagrams, and schematics

• Knowledge of common electrical sensors, including optical, pressure, vacuum, and proximity sensors

• 3-5 years experience in the building, maintenance, or installation of capital equipment null
