Novant Health is hiring a clinical coordinator for the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab unit for our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC.

    About the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab department:

    We’re seeking a Clinical Coordinator to join our team in our Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab Department . As Clinical Coordinator, you will be r esponsible for supervising and coordinating activities of nursing personnel and contract services in patient-care areas according to the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the facility. You will also participate in planning work of assigned areas and coordinates activities with all patient-care areas while working closely with the ACS Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates professionally with patients, staff, and physicians to foster effective interactions.

  • Contributes to performance improvement initiatives and quality care evaluations.

  • Adheres to safety protocols, leads safety programs, and monitors facility environment.

  • Manages daily operations, coordinates scheduling, and oversees clinical documentation and policy adherence.

  • Coordinates patient care with surgeons/anesthesia, oversees nursing activities, and ensures quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, required.

  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license required, or valid RDCS, RDMS, or CNMT certification, required.

  • BLS certification required. ACLS and PALS certifications, preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years in a critical care or healthcare equivalent setting, required. Prior ASC or OP suite experience with leadership responsibility, preferred.

    If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
