Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Operations Manager 2 at ChristianaCare Wilmington Hospital to oversee the daily operations. This role ensures high quality food service for patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in food & patient service management, team leadership, and operational efficiency in a healthcare or similar setting.

What You'll Do
Oversee daily food service operations, including patient meal service, cafeteria, catering, retail, and production functions
Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations
Supervise, train, and mentor staff, including scheduling and performance management
Address patient and customer feedback to improve dining experiences
Achieve company and client financial targets and goals

What You Bring
Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of dietary guidelines, food safety regulations, and healthcare nutrition services
Experience with food production processes and managing retail food operations, including point-of-sale (POS) systems

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement -Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
