Job Description:

This job is responsible for ensuring operational data is fit for purpose, defining controls, and monitoring processes are in adherence to enterprise data management standards. Key responsibilities include triaging and remediating data incidents, performing data analysis, training new users, and performing impact analysis stemming from data updates. Job expectations include helping in defining access and ownership of data by domain, conducting quality control, and overseeing data maintenance.

The person in this position will oversee 28 Credit Bureau Team Coding, Development, Testing and Production Environments to ensure accurate credit bureau data, systems and software versions are kept in each environment.

  • Work with multiple Bank of America teams and External Vendors to keep environments up to date, maintain environment stability, assist in coordinating and scheduling code installations, and understand new software requirements.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of environment code.

  • Manage environment issues: identify, communicate, track, and resolve or escalate as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures data is accurate and complete

  • Manages data related incidents and identifies, communicates, and resolves or escalates issues as needed. Data inquiries include questions related to data issues, availability of data, and potential sourcing alternatives to inform

  • Develops, manages, and executes on controls, ensuring tracking, monitoring, and resolution of any control breaches with data platform

  • Partners with Business and Technology functions to drive the development of business and functional requirements documents and ensures strategic upstream resolution for data related incidents

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of software testing and testing environments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong proficiency in Excel.

  • The ability to learn new desktop technology, tools, and applications.

  • Experience collaborating with technology partners.

  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving and follow-up skills, and the ability to escalate and gain resolution as needed.

  • Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate across many different audiences.

  • Possess a positive attitude and build strong relationships with teammates; have a strong willingness to work toward team goals and projects.

  • Ability to build relationships & facilitate collaboration across different teams within the organization.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to obtain information in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Ability to navigate within a constantly changing environment and under tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy
