IT - Business Analyst
The Business Analyst is part of the IT support team. The Business Analyst will work as a liaison among stakeholders to analyze, communicate and validate IT requirements for changes to current business processes. To that end, the successful candidate will be involved in mapping current-state and future states and ensuring that both regional and corporate business requirements are met. The Business Analyst will design documents, develop reporting and ensure the accuracy of analytics. The position requires the ability to communicate solutions from sophisticated technical language to understand business language.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Evaluates business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Leads ongoing reviews of business processes and develops optimization strategies.
Stays up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
Documents and communicates work results by regularly conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings with peers and management.
Performs requirements analysis and user acceptance testing by gathering data and feedback from technical experts and end users.
Produces useful reports and analyses by gathering information in meetings with various stakeholders
Continually monitors business processes and solutions while ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Manages special projects, develops project plans, and monitors performance.
Responsible for updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Able to drive change and facilitate internal communication processes. Must possess the capacity to build strong collaborative relationships. Able to effectively influence and manage crucial conversations with key stakeholders.
Strong focus on service delivery to internal customers while supporting alignment with the broader organization. Must build and develop relationships and be able to absorb and translate others' statements into objective responses and actions.
Able to work through necessary channels to accomplish outcomes in complex settings; understanding of processes and continuous improvement.
Ability to demonstrate common sense, sound judgment, and analytical skills with minimum direction to resolve problems or discrepancies within the essential job functions.
Ability to multi-task and to work collaboratively and cooperatively, as a member of a diverse team.
Requires analytical, technical, and/or management capabilities. Able to simultaneously think and act strategically and operationally.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to set priorities and ensure timely completion of responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
5+ years of business analysis experience required.
Experience in creating detailed reports and presentations.
Strong experience and analytical capabilities in data collection, cleansing, mapping, mining, and business intelligence using Excel, Access, PeopleSoft, etc.
Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle Analytics, and Power BI strongly preferred
Experience in business process mapping, gap analysis, A3 process, methodology, and road mapping.
Must have advanced computer skills, with demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Mobile platform (iOS and Android) and web-based systems experience is preferred.
