OhioMeansJobs Lake County is assisting a Willoughby employer with their recruiting efforts for the following position: Drill Instructor/Monitor Location: Willoughby, OH Position ID:44072691 Job Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday Shifts: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Wage: $18.00-$22.00 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Sick Leave, Vacation, Paid Holidays, Educational Assistance, Retirement Job Summary: Performs the job functions of inspections/repairs to client's facilities in accordance with local and national codes for and life safety. Responsibilities: Excellent communication skills, bot verbal and written. Coordinate, organize, and provide required training to healthcare staff in a professional manner as developed. Ability to remain flexible when training issues arise and aid in solving them in accordance with facility fire and life safety procedures. Manage the healthcare staff in a manner that ensures a suitable learning environment. Ensure that appropriate safety practices are always used. Evaluate and document staffs' competency attainment, drill outline progress, attendance, and overall training efforts based on learning experiences and workplace behaviors in accordance with the facility policy and/or procedures. Maintain required written and computerized records and respond to requests for information in a timely manner. Coordinate with other instructors, support services staff and management to ensure a cohesive learning environment dedicated to providing superior client services. Actively contribute to and participate in company-wide activities in support of regional accreditation and state and federal requirements. Provide daily reports with training drill results as requested. Flexible to work various geographic locations and times based on business needs. Must adhere to confidentiality requirements and its clients. Treat all patients, staff, and visitors in any facility in a courteous, respectful and helpful manner. The health, safety and privacy of these individuals are to be of paramount importance. Conduct oneself with a high level of professionalism and attention to details, along with appearance and hygiene standards in accordance with the handbook. Drills are scheduled for all three shifts, and the candidate must be able to accommodate all hours of the drill schedule. Local travel between drill is mandatory, so the candidate will need to be able to drive from one scheduled drill to the next.
