WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibility will be to perform a variety of task related to production, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This role will require collaboration with other team members to ensure a consistent high level of quality and productivity.

  • Maintains and services a manufacturing facility mechanical equipment, control systems, power distribution systems, and HVAC systems.

  • Performs preventative maintenance and routine repairs to systems and equipment

  • Conducts periodic safety and maintenance inspections to evaluate equipment for replacement and identify wear and damage

  • Use technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to install, troubleshoot, fabricate guarding, racks, tables, lifts throughout facility

  • Order parts needed to replacement and coordinates with service providers to complete maintenance tasks

  • Use work orders to track and document activities

  • Follow established safety procedures and regulations for hazardous materials handling

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Proven experience in general maintenance, including knowledge of hydraulic pumps, foam equipment, pneumatic equipment, chillers, and air compressors

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently

  • Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor

  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols

  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations

  • Familiarity with basic computer programs for record keeping
