Full Job Description

Maintenance Supervisor: The Maintenance Supervisor is directly responsible for the condition and proper, profitable maintenance operations of specified, multi-site housing properties and its equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervising staff

  • Overseeing all maintenance and grounds keeping activity on site

  • Working with vendors

  • Relocating and arranging (without damaging) of furniture in stock homes as they leave and when new stock homes are brought to the sales center.

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the sales center grounds- lawn care, weed removal, trash pick-up, putting up and taking down signage, and various other duties dependent on how the sales center is set up.

  • Keeping accurate paperwork for warranty information and equipment replacement, etc.

  • Minor repairs to buildings and grounds that do not require licensed contractors or special equipment.

  • Maintaining the sales center office- keeping restrooms, guest waiting areas, PHC's offices, and dining areas sanitized and stocked daily.

  • Lifting of 50-60 lbs unassisted- items such as trim kits(large pieces of the home that is delivered inside the home, but is stored in another location on homes on display at the sales center) inside stock homes, gypsum fiberboard, paint buckets, housing wire(large spools used to power homes), shingle bundles, furniture, cinderblocks, and various other things vital for the delivery and trim out of new homes.

  • Communicating to the GM and Operations manager any issues that might have been noticed during daily morning walk-throughs.

Education/Experience:

  • Candidates will possess at least 1 year of experience in maintenance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to withstand heavy amounts of walking, standing, bending, and climbing ladders.

  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, and pull

  • Ability to lift heavy items

  • Ability to walk and climb stairs

  • Ability to think, concentrate, and communicate

Pay: Depending on Experience but starting at $15/hour ++
