This Medical Coder will code and input charges for all outpatient and inpatient appointments, procedures, and surgeries. They will review and correct any denials on Explanation of Benefits and efficiently manage patient information within EMR systems. It is imperative that this Medical Coder demonstrates exceptional written and oral communication skills as they will be expected to answer questions from patients, insurance carriers, and other involved parties. This Medical Coder will review surgical claims and post all surgical charges. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of medical coding experience and be certified in CPT and ICD coding.

Hours: M-F, 8am-4pm
How do you qualify? * 5-10+ years medical coding experience * Experience in Medical Coding * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills * Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) * MEDENT experience a plus * Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
Education: * Associates Degree in Healthcare related field * CPT and ICD Coding Certificate
This is an In-Person, Onsite role in the Western New York area.
