National Fuel has an immediate, full-time opening for an Engineering CAD Specialist within our engineering department at our main office in Williamsville, New York. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Produce single line isometric, 2D design drawings, 3D Drawings, site maps, and details of natural gas related facilities for Engineering Services and other Departments using AutoCAD software. Consult and coordinate with Project Managers on drawing layouts and/or details. Compute basic mathematical formulas to develop and layout drawings. Revise drawings to reflect as built conditions. Produce a materials list for each drawing or set of drawings. Perform copying, microfilm scanning/printing as well as other duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with AutoCAD. Outstanding PC skills, particularly Microsoft Office proficiency, including Microsoft Excel. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to successfully work independently, as well as within a team environment. Exceptional time management, work ethic, and multi-tasking abilities. Must be available to work Monday Friday 7:45am 4:15pm (flexible).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma/GED and an associate degree or completion of a Technical School Program with AutoCAD training required. Experience with Civil Engineering drafting and design. Experience with pipeline utilities design, construction, or inspection.
