Responsibilities to Include:
Lead, plan, organize, monitor, and conduct supplier audits to quality standards (AS9100) in support of supplier selection and improvement.
Drive effective root cause analyses and corrective action for Lycoming and its customers. Spearheads process improvement activities at supplier facilities.
Facilitate preventative actions and supplier process control projects that improve quality of product delivered to Lycoming Engines.
Compile and analyze data to make decisions to drive supplier quality improvement as well as evaluate supplier’s performance.
Works closely with the receiving inspection team to resolve any issues with parts / paperwork from suppliers.
Collaborate with the supply chain team for supplier review / development.
Provide a clear vision of supplier quality strategy and processes for supplier teams.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical discipline.
Auditing Experience
ASQ or SAE Auditing certifications preferred
Ability to travel to suppliers (Approximately 40-75%)
License and Certification Requirements:
Six Sigma Certification preferred
At least 2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or quality engineering environment
Casting & NDI Experience Preferred
