At Spartronics, the Process Technician supports engineering processes that drive efficient production of electronic components/circuit boards for military, defense, and medical applications using surface mount and plated through-hole technology. Technicians will partner with Process engineers to focus on machine programming and general manufacturing with first pass quality.

What a Day Looks Like:

• Develop new programs for machines used in manufacturing, including but not limited to: Surface Mount Equipment, Plated Through-Hole Equipment and Router/Depanel Machines
• Complete tasks and assignments within the Spartronics policies and procedures
• Support engineers with complex technical assignments and routine engineering tasks
• Review of new work instructions/visual aids for manufacturability
• Ensure all machine programs are in place prior to production runs
• Assistance with New Product Introduction (NPI) process
• Assistance with Preventative Maintenance and repair activities
• Purchasing/ordering tooling and controlling material inventory
• Responsible for corrective actions associated with machine programs
• Develop and troubleshoot thermal profiles
• Assist in identification and resolution of equipment/process related defects
• Offer recommendations for process improvement

• All other duties as assigned

   

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience (3+ years).
• Should be familiar with reading and manipulating multiple data formats.
• Computer skills such MS Office, Aegis, and Arena
• All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. We cannot provide sponsorship.

*Preferred Skills:

• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Understanding of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 desired.
