Maintenance Supervisor - 3038
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates the day-to-day activities of maintenance workers to ensure that production equipment, machinery, or instruments function reliably and safely and that facilities, buildings, and plants are in good working order. Monitors workers responsible for the maintenance of production equipment and related systems. Assists with root cause analysis of equipment failures and implements fixes.
Responsibilities * Timely assignment of maintenance work order completion. * Responsible for the delegation of maintenance work. * Scheduling, implementation, and installation of new equipment. * Develops, implements, and reviews regularly, plant maintenance logs. * Conducts maintenance inspections. * Coordinates, arranges, and supervises the completion of corrective and preventative maintenance. * Ensures that equipment and furnishings are maintained in a safe, operable condition and / or arrange for replacement. * Plans, administers and coordinates various engineering and cost saving programs designed to improve plant operating performance and reduce waste and delay in the manufacturing process.
Education Preferred High School Diploma or GED.
Qualifications * 5+ years of regulated trade experience. * Ability to supervise at least 5 employees across multiple shifts. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Excel. * Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. * Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. * Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram or schedule form. * Experience in estimating maintenance and repair cost.
