DESCRIPTION OF WORK As part of this role, you will be responsible for carrying out the responsibilities of a DEP Project Officer or Regional Project Manager at designated State and Federal hazardous waste locations, as well as abandoned tank sites. This will involve supervising and coordinating contractors hired by the Department to execute remedial planning, investigation, design, construction, and cleanup activities.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week after an appropriate period of training. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. This position requires possession of an active license as a professional geologist issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists. This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
