DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Employment Facilitator, OVR, you will be a liaison between employers, providers, and district office staff supporting established district office programs and customer placement opportunities. This involves maintaining employer relationships through regular contact via phone, email, virtual and in-person meetings, providing disability awareness training and ADA accessibility information, and promoting or participating in job fairs and hiring events with other OVR staff.

Collaboration with local employers, stakeholders, and other OVR offices is key to share information, promote employment programs, and spread the word about other resources including on-the-job training, apprenticeships, paid work experiences, and supported employment. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to (3) days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed Internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Wilkes-Barre. This position may be eligible for an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree that includes 24 credits in the behavioral sciences; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 24 credits in the behavioral sciences. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
