DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position will be responsible for reviewing initial requests for consumer assessments, assignment to assessors for further screening, and the assessment completion. Your work will include responding to casework queries for guidance on policies and procedures in a prompt and knowledgeable fashion. The employee will need to provide information and supervision to telephone intake care managers and assessors, as needed. Responsibilities will include arranging, monitoring, reviewing, and authorizing all paperwork and data entry, and completion of consumer data into the SAMS data base. You will be required to analyze reports for completeness and adherence to established standards.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training including successful completion of 12 semester hours of college level courses in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences.

Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within Carbon, Columbia, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Schuylkill, Sullivan & Wyoming counties.
