Monson Savings Bank Deposit Operations Super/Fraud Analyst in Wilbraham, Massachusetts

Deposit Operations Supervisor/Fraud Analyst Monson Savings Bank is currently seeking a full-time, non-exempt Deposit Operations Supervisor & Fraud Analyst to supervise Deposit Operations staff, and assist in monitoring, implementing, and administering the Bank\'s fraud and identity theft programs. Working within the Loan & Operations Center located at 75 Post Office Park, Wilbraham, MA, this position generally works Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and has the possibility for future remote/hybrid work. Some of the position responsibilities include: Provides staff with assistance in problem solving and serves as a general resource for direction and guidance. Ensures timely and accurate completion of departmental responsibilities such as those relating to quality control, deposit operations, returned item management, overdraft, returned mail, levy processing, and scheduled customer correspondence. Reviews and analyzes potential fraud and identity theft incidents and alerts. Performs investigations, provides recommendations and written summary of findings. Assists with communicating and coordinating with employees, customers, and law enforcement on fraud and identity theft related issues. Prepares and provides training to staff on Identity Theft Red Flags, Fraud Prevention, Complaint Handling, and other training needs as identified by management. Ensures timely and accurate completion of annual Safe Deposit Box billing and past due notices. Takes appropriate follow up action as needed, such as coordinating drilling for past due boxes. Ensures timely completion of backup withholdings and 1099 INT and 1099 Misc reporting for all retail bank promotions and rewards checking accounts. Responsible for identifying and tracking any required tax reporting requirements for foreign persons. Qualifications/Skills: Preferred applicant has strong customer service, analytical and investigative skills; sound knowledge of bank operations and regulations; demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands and priorities; ability to work independently and strong attention to detail and organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong technology/computer skills; ability to type accurately and proficiently; proven interpersonal and supervisory skills with team and customer service approach to work responsibilities.
