Army Installation Management Command Supervisory Recreation Specialist (Outdoor Recreation) NF-04 in Wiesbaden, Germany

Summary This position is located at USAG Wiesbaden, MWR, Outdoor Recreation in Wiesbaden, Germany. Responsibilities Plans, devises, and administers outdoor recreational activities at a U.S. Army Recreation Area. Within established agency policies and objectives, administers the business, financial, and recreational operation of the park. Maintains an accurate account of daily sales revenue, operational funds, fixed assets, and property. Provides guidance and leadership to the various outdoor recreation activities and participants, modifying, adapting, amending, or otherwise changing plans and procedures for such activities as developments require. Develops periodic program plans and annual budget requirements with supporting data for inclusion in overall program plans formulated at higher organizational levels Supervises personnel assigned to Outdoor Recreation Program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications 1. Directly related work experience that included the goals, principles, method of techniques of outdoor recreation and understanding the interest of individuals and groups. 2. Planning, organizing, coordinating, supervising or evaluating community, industrial, outdoor, institutional, or other recreational programs. 3. Work experience supervising support staff in outdoor recreation programs. 4. Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. Best Qualified Criteria 1. One (1) year of demonstrated experience in Hunting, Fishing and Sport Shooting. 2. One (1) year of demonstrated experience in adventure programing such as hiking, skiing, rock climbing, and canoeing. 3. One (1) year of demonstrated proficiency in planning/implementing trips and tours. Referral lists are based on the qualifications stated in the job announcement. Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). These allowances may include Living Quarters Allowance (LQA), Temporary Quarters Subsistence Allowance (TQSA) and requires a Transportation Agreement in accordance (IAW) the provisions of the Department of States Standardized Regulations (DSSR). Post allowance may be paid in accordance with the Department of States Standardized Regulations (DSSR), contingent upon eligibility.
