The Opportunity

This position works out of our location in Wiesbaden in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

Your Tasks:

  • Understand, map and implement requirements of sick funds with regards to technical reimbursement processes of any product that is distributed within the DtP (direct-to patient) approach

  • Ensure integration of all requirements meet legal and Abbott regulations

  • Collaborate with the commercial, insights teams and other functional teams to create and establish a consistent customer journey and experience as a baseline for all teams

  • Executing requirement definitions and priority setting on a program level and act as business partner in large complex program

  • Further development of direct to patient business as well as coordination and implementation of new strategic functionalities in cooperation with internal local and Global stakeholder and existing or new third-party service providers

  • Support commercial organization to achieve strategic goals by providing high quality analysis and tools regarding sales force, customer relationship management, market and patient data, and sales analysis

  • Regular quality assurance and testing of our webshop Free Style Libre and the sampling pages

Your Qualification:

  • Adequate university degree in economics, business administration or business information technology

  • Minimum 7 years' of work experience in e-commerce, supply chain, and customer experience area with experience in building up and use of IT solutions

  • At least 5-7 years’ experience in one of the following industries: medical devices/pharma, e-commerce, or payer

  • Experience in reimbursement & functions of pharma, medical device or related functions of payers, market access consultancies, disease management organizations (market access or related functional)

  • Previous experience or exposure to IT industry ( E-commerce , Salesforce etc.) and working with international teams is an advantage

  • Fluent in German and English language
