What You’ll Do
Abbott is seeking a dynamic, self-starter intern to assist marketing efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing and communications across multi-disciplinary functions:
Understand Content Management System and route marketing tools for approval
Create routing files for various initiatives
Coordinate translations with our internal translation team and regional marketing managers
Support in creating simple graphics/visuals, ppt updates etc.
Collaborating with staff on new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing and communications
Support with events and trade shows logistics, print, and lead collection.
Assist in integrating new customers into our Salesforce Marketing Cloud database
Assist in managing and organizing webinars
Support in the various digital marketing campaigns and activations
Education and Qualifications:
Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., Marketing/Communications, or Public Relations)
Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus
Must be computer literate (working knowledge of word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Good understanding of digital channels (web, social, advertising)
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop highly desired.
Knowledge of HTML is a plus
An effective communicator, both written and oral in English
Ability to communicate in a professional manner
Resourceful, Self-motivated, eager learner, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
