Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Data & AI Technical Specialist with a great attitude and willing to do what it takes to assist in building the most innovative analytical solutions. You will be a part of a team that will solve the most complex use cases with cutting edge solutions in he most Austrian market including telecommunications-, industrial sector, public sector and financial services industry clients.
You will need to identify and understand the client's business requirements, technical requirements, competitive landscape, and recommend a solution which meet customer needs and solve enterprise challenges. In this role you will be expected to demonstrate and show off IBMs solutions so that customer can see the benefits of various Data & AI solutions within the context of their business.
Additionally, you will have the full resources of the entire IBM organization to continually grow your network and technical skills to be a leader in this field. Candidates will serve as technical liaisons with prospective and existing clients to provide industry and domain expertise to establish credibility for IBM's abilities and value proposition. Hands-on expertise with IBM Business Analytics tools and techniques is expected, including a business-level understanding of how AI and analytics can deliver business value.
You are required to support customers current use cases and identify new opportunities based on customer needs. You will need to assist customers in navigating complex data and delivering analytics solutions that deliver business insights to achieve goals.You will be a key technical resource showing customers the value and power of IBM Software and solutions by demonstrating and talking through their complex use cases and environments. You will also help to identify new areas of a customer business that IBM software could be used for competitive advantage. You will also work very closely with sales, internal teams and business partners to help customers best achieve its goals.
Use your experience and training to be a thought leader to help accelerate customers digital transformation while developing trust and credibility with integrity. You will be required to show our competitive advantage verse other solutions to ultimately drive their decision-making process. You will need to show the benefits of IBM Software by delivering effective demonstrations, Proof of Concept (PoC), Proof of Technology (PoT) and/or supporting critical situations. You will need to address specific concerns and share best practices that can be applied to their business.
You are required to be knowledgeable on IBM products, solutions, services, and competitors within Data and AI but also our other solutions. You will be continually training on the newest technologies to drive digital transformation and insights for our customers. These technologies include AI, data science, data fabric and Red Hat OpenShift just to name a few.
Minimum Reference Salary based on Austrian Market Ranges: EUR 35.700,--. Possibility for over-payment is based on education and experience.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Ability to clearly articulate complex technical solutions into business-friendly language by showing the solutions and explaining the business value.
Ability to understand technical and business requirements to determining the best solution to fit the needs of the customer.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Understand and demonstrate IBM Data and AI solutions to show business value and understand our competitive differentiation within the market.
Technical Sales Preferred or relevant analytics solutions experience.
Experience with using and implementing Business Analytics, Planning & Forecasting Solutions (such as: Cognos Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI, Planning Analytics, SAP, Anaplan, Hyperion).
Experience with AI/ML solutions and/or Watson (or other AI competitors - Open Source, AWS, Microsoft, Google).
Experience with using and implementing Data Science/Machine Learning solutions (Watson Studio, SPSS, Open Source, Microsoft Cognitive Services, AWS Sagemaker).
Collaborate with sales to effectively develop your territory which will include opportunity identification, customer satisfaction, use case development and working with business partners to drive the sales and adoption of IBM Software.
Certifications - Red Hat Open Shift, IBM Developer or Data Science certifications.
