This is a temporary Landscape Worker position with 6 openings at Wickenburg Landscape & Irrigation, Inc. DBA Wickenburg Landscape, 51020 US Highway 60 89, Wickenburg, AZ 85390. This is a full-time temporary position.

Applicants must have 3 months of landscape work experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to travel. Show proof of legal authority to work in the U.S. All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform the work described and must be available for the entire period specified. The position requires lifting/carrying items up to 50LBS. No minimum education is required.

The job duties consist of general landscaping and maintenance duties, including: lay sod and plant flower beds with seasonal flowers; Plant shrubs and trees; mow and edge lawns with power mowers or edgers; trim or prune trees, shrubs, using shears, prunes, or chain saws; deadhead flowers weekly; install, repair and maintain sprinkler irrigation systems, and water lawns, trees or plants as needed; spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders; install concrete pavers patios and retaining walls by using bricks, natural stones or concrete blocks; and clear and remove yard debris.

The work will be conducted at multiple work sites throughout Maricopa County and Yavapai County, Arizona between October 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Drug/alcohol free work zone. Pre-hire drug/alcohol testing will be conducted at the employers expense.

Wage is \$22.78 per hour for worksites in Maricopa and Yavapai counties in Arizona, with overtime paid one and one-half of the regular rate at \$34.17/hr. Employer will use a single workweek for computing wages due, pay wages on Friday (weekly) by check, and make all deductions from the workers paycheck required by law.

Daily transportation to and from worksite(s) will be provided. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Employer will provide workers with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no charge. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
