Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is evenly split between warehouse duties and machine operation, with training provided on site. The position is within a steel company environment similar to SSA or CPS.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties including loading, picking, and inventory management.

• Operate machinery as trained on site.

• Handle materials and ensure they are stored and transported safely.

• Utilize forklifts for various tasks within the warehouse.

• Maintain accurate records of production and inventory.

Essential Skills

• Experience in warehouse operations.

• Ability to operate a forklift.

• Basic knowledge of inventory management.

• Experience in machine operation is preferred but not required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in a steel company environment is a plus.

• Ability to handle and transport materials safely.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Work Environment

This position offers various shifts: 1st shift from 5am to 1:30pm, 2nd shift from 1:30pm to 9:00pm with a $0.75 shift differential, and 3rd shift from 9pm to 5:30am with a $1.25 shift differential. The work environment is similar to TMX, and the facility is equipped with the necessary tools and machinery for efficient operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
