Wolters Kluwer Senior Content Management Analyst – Content Management Systems in Wichita, Kansas

LOCATION: Hybrid U.S. offices (in office 8 days per month) – see posting for locations

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Senior Content Management Analyst for the Lippincott Solutions Content Management program to help in our mission to provide evidence-based best-in-class Nursing solutions in the healthcare market.

You will be responsible, in partnership with colleagues in Content and Technology, for establishing and delivering on strategic priorities that support our content creation and development program so that we can increase our speed to market, improve our content quality, and achieve content reuse, repurposing, and enrichment to support quicker growth of the Lippincott Solutions portfolio.

You will have experience in implementing technology strategies that include workflow for content creation and development, and content enrichment strategies including taxonomies and metadata for all content types including multimedia. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a great collaborator and inspiration for change, and is willing to move aggressively to drive growth. You should thrive on new opportunities, enjoy defining new strategies by working with the stakeholders, and be able to think creatively.

This is an individual contributor role. You will report to the Director, Product Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will articulate and prioritize business problems to be solved, including capturing the impact of problems, the benefit to the business of solving problems, and the measurable KPIs that show the business when problems are solved. You will develop an understanding of current state and quickly analyze opportunities for improvements in efficiencies either in content creation, production, enrichment, or enhancement. You will collaborate with important partners including Product teams to ensure content tech strategy aligns to business needs and technical capabilities. This will include leading development of business cases with timeline, resource plan, cost, and savings impacts. In collaboration with Content, Technology, and Operations teams, you will develop implementation plans that deliver on the capabilities defined in content technology strategy. You would provide consistent updates to all stakeholders, ensuring there is accountability and appropriate change management as technical development progresses. You will create harmonized plans with Technology and Content Operations colleagues for how content should flow from content management system into products so that processes and resources are optimized. This work will include content transformation, content management system outputs. You will also craft longer-term vision for “future proofing” so that larger business strategy is consistently reflected in the content management program.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: College degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience required.

Experience: 6+ years’ experience in content management program management, including experience implementing content management system(s) and defining content taxonomies. (Experience in healthcare/clinical publishing is preferred).

  • Demonstrated experience in contributing to annual strategic planning.

  • Demonstrated experience in creating and managing roadmaps for content technology based on business values and how proposed features deliver articulated value.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing stakeholder communications that delineate progress in the context of business value to support leadership in decision-making.

  • Demonstrated experience in creating quarterly tech release plans and supporting technology project plans for content tech.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading regular operating reviews for content tech program.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • General knowledge of the healthcare/nursing market.

  • Familiarity with health/clinical publishing.

  • Experience with various content tech modalities and how to leverage workflow efficiencies from such tools.

TRAVEL : Up to 10% travel for business meetings

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $84,050-$117,550
