POSITION
Pre Assembler (Parts Sorter)
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Responsibility:
The primary responsibility of the Part sorter/Web frame cutter is to ensure all products produced are under R.D. Henry quality metrics and include but are not limited to the following.
- Cut toe kick
- Cut web frame
- Sort parts into the correct box/cart/slot.
- Machine the bottoms of NT/W ice wall sides
- Notch the bottom of the base side for a toe kick
- Rabbit the flush sides
- Rabbit and notch all hand parts
- Audit carts to make sure the customer has all the parts needed to complete cabinets.
- Cleans area around shaper, pop-up saw, and part sorting area.
- Check parts for quality, scratches, dents, dings, cracks, etc.
- Perform hourly quality checks to ensure product consistency
- Complete the day\'s schedule every day
- Clean your area and machine at the end of each shift
- Always practice safe work habits and report any safety concerns
- Helps fill in for other positions in the factory when needed
Expectations:
- The expectation for the Part Sorter/Web Frame cutter will be to report to the Plywood team lead.
- Meet hourly goals and per R.D. Henry standards outlined in the quality manual.
