Position Specific Responsibilities

We are looking to add a Program Manager Level 1 to our growing team! The position will work within the Program Management Office (PMO) and support multiple research and development programs, as assigned. Research programs will range from small to large highly complex projects with high programmatic risk.

Summary of Responsibilities

Utilizes industry standard project management tools and techniques, and earned value management, to assist in managing the Integrated Management Schedule (IMS), risk issues & opportunities (RIO), project budget performance, and earned value performance to ensure scope, schedule, budget, contractual, and technical requirements are achieved.

Essential Functions

• Assists in developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules and budgets, from proposal pursuit through project completion and with leadership oversight, while ensuring compliance with all program requirements
• Coordinates project team meetings and maintains detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues lists and risk management plans
• Assists with timely and effective project status reporting regarding milestones, cost, schedule, deliverable, dependencies, and risks, opportunities and issues
• Assists in development and submission of required technical and financial progress reports
• Contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans
• Completes, participates, and leads special projects as assigned
