Summary:
Assures consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing QMS standards; validating processes; providing documentation; and managing staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision of inspections at all phases of the manufacturing and delivery processes
- Assist all site functions and personnel with quality related questions
- Interpret customer drawings & specifications
- Manage departmental workload to support on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction
- Hands on inspection as needed
- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and other divisions
- Manage Certified Operator training program
- Manage quality audits
- Supervise MSQRB and quality improvement teams and processes
- Coach, counsel, train, and mentor quality staff
- Complete performance reviews
- Accept and adapt easily to change.
- Ensure that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement.
