Flight begins with you at Spirit AeroSystems, a place where you can explore your interests and grow your career by working on impactful projects. As a Project Management intern, you can expect to:
Project Management
Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, acting as the primary liaison between project management, planning, project teams, and line management.
Monitor project progress by reviewing statuses and budgets, managing schedules, and preparing comprehensive status reports.
Identify and assess project issues, developing solutions to ensure productivity, quality, and client satisfaction align with established goals and objectives.
Develop and implement mechanisms for tracking project progress, facilitating timely interventions, and resolving issues in collaboration with project managers, line managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Also, should you be selected as a 2025 Spirit AeroSystems Summer Intern, you will have exposure to several activities including:
Multiple Manufacturing Plant Tours of Iconic aircraft
Professional development workshops
Project Expo (An opportunity to present an intern project for Executive Leaders)
Social/Networking Events
Qualifications
Requirements:
You must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)
You must be enrolled full time in a university degree program aligned to the area of internship.
You must be a current sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student in good academic standing.
