JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 21477 JOB POSITION: Administrative Assistant - College of Business and Economics INTRODUCTION: The College of Business and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks an Administrative Assistant (Administrative Assistant III, AD003). JOB DUTIES: This position provides general administrative support while exercising discretion to support the College of Business and Economics Graduate Programs. The working hours for this position are Monday-Friday 7:45 am- 4:30 pm with a 45-minute lunch. This position reports to the Associate Dean and is integral to the College of Business and Economics Graduate Programs. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Greet, assist, and direct visitors (faculty and staff, current/past/potential students, and other visitors) professionally. 2. Review, monitor, and process all graduate-level applications (including international students) and communicate with students, Graduate School, Registrar, and others as needed. 3. Process program plan with appropriate correspondence for each student after the graduate advisor has met with them. Enroll, swap, add and drop classes for students in WINS as requested by Associate Dean or graduate advisor. 4. Process Guest Matriculants, change in program, start term, change in status, and change in emphasis for graduate students. 5. Maintain all student files (graduate programs and certificates) and update the database with all new student information each semester. 6. Monitor and manage enrollment statistics. 7. Assist with CRM development and refinement. Communicate with admissions, graduate school, and advisors concerning CRM. 8. Coordinate the Associate Dean\'s office communication to faculty and students on University and Graduate Office Policy, course delivery, and other relevant information. 9. Manage DBA program logistics. 10. Serve as the administrative assistant to the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs. 11. Manage Graduate Assistantships applications. 12. Supervise and train student workers and assign tasks. 13. Support office operations and manage office supplies. 14. Coordinate graduate special events. 15. Manage Hyland Hall room reservations and make arrangements associated with the reservations. 16. Serve as backup to the Dean\'s Assistant for approval of electronic travel authorization and travel reimbursement forms completed by college faculty, staff, students, and guests. 17. Attend campus training and stay up to date and knowledgeable on University travel policies and the booking tool, especially related to our college. 18.
