Logan Health Clinical Dietitian - Nutrition Services Whitefish - PRN in Whitefish, Montana

Job Description Summary:

Responsible for the assessment and implementation of nutritional care plans for patients of Logan Health - Whitefish; interacts with nurses and physicians as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Conducts outpatient nutritional counseling; in-service education for LHW staff and physicians; and nutrition education programs for staff and the community. Responsible for Diabetes Education. Performs other duties as assigned.

Interacts with nurses and physicians as a member of the interdisciplinary team; and assesses and implements nutritional care plans for patients. (EF) Maintains positive rapport and communications with patients, clients, and hospital staff. (EF) Responsible for Diabetes Education. (MF) Attends daily operations meetings. (MF)

Education/Experience Requirements

Bachelor of Science or Advanced degree from an accredited institution with a major emphasis on foods and nutrition. Completion of American Dietetic Association approved dietetic internship or equivalent. Current membership in American Dietetic Association. Licensed by the Montana State Board of Medical Examiners to function as a Licensed Nutritionist. Maintains Licensure through continuing education. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and preferably Meditech. Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field of dietetics. Registered Dietitian.

Desire: Serv-Safe Certification.
