- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures\ - Take patient medical history and record vital signs\ - Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies\ - Perform laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing\ - Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers\ - Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records\ - Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
Qualifications:\ - High school diploma or equivalent\ - Completion of a medical assistant training program or relevant certification\ - Previous experience working as a medical assistant is preferred\ - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures\ - Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems\ - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\ - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
