Staff Accountant

Job Description

As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for reviewing and entering all incoming bills and invoices promptly. You will collaborate with personnel on cost coding and approval of job-related invoices, process weekly payroll, and ensure timely payments by verifying transaction information. Additionally, you will monitor and reconcile credit card charges, resolve billing issues with vendors, assist with weekly cash reporting, and contribute to quarterly and year-end reports. Your role is crucial in maintaining financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls and keeping historical records organized by filing accounting documents. Your contributions will be essential to the team's success by accomplishing related results as needed.

Hard Skills

  • Accounting or Finance Degree

  • SAGE 100

  • 5+ years of Accounting experience

  • Experience in construction is a big plus

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in White Plains, New York.

Work Environment

This is a fully in-office role where you will report directly to the Operations Manager.
