The Opportunity
We are seeking a Software Developer to join our Firm. In this front-end and back-end development position, you will be responsible working with cross-functional teams to design, develop, enhance, and implement software solutions for the Firm. This position will be based in our White Plains office and has a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule. Please note that the Firm will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
As the Software Developer you will:
- Design, code, test, and manage various applications.
- Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams, including both technical and business stakeholders, to align solutions with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Maintain quality coding standards.
- Analyze user requirements and convert them into design documents and prototypes.
- Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture.
- Create and test software prototypes.
- Develop client displays and user interfaces.
- Coordinate with other software professionals and developers.
- Stay current with the latest methods and technologies as they relate to software development and the development life-cycle.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
- Manage Firm resources responsibly.
- Comply with and understands Firm operation, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in .Net, C#, Python, HTML5, Javascript, ReactJS, Blazor, WebAPI, MS SQL, Azure DevOps/Git
- Solid understanding of SQL Databases, data retrieval, and relational design
- Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
- Knowledge of coding languages and related frameworks
- Mastery of Microsoft Office programs, in particular Excel
- Experience in performance tuning and query optimization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing; ability to convey complex findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity in providing dataset to large language models, prompt engineering and related fine tuning practices a plus. This includes implementing data preprocessing techniques to clean, normalize, and augment datasets for generative model training and/or machine learning workloads
- Demonstrate close attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
- Ability to use discretion and exercise independent and sound judgment
- Maintains knowledge of current technologies, relevant industry direction(s), and best practices
- Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of three years of related technical experience in a professional services environment

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.

$125,000 - $140,000EEO Statement
