Line Service Technician
Ross Aviation is currently seeking new team members who share our passion for customer service excellence and the aviation industry! The Line Service Technician is a critical position on our team and is responsible for performing ramp duties, aircraft fueling and other services on the airfield in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner. This position will report to the Line Service Manager and is located in White Plains, NY.

Key duties include:
Delivers and receives fuel to and from company tanks, vendor trucks, and aircraft.
Maintains a working knowledge of specific aircraft refueling instructions.
Operates all company ground support equipment as requested or required, including lavatory and water service carts, ground power unit, deice truck, etc.
Performs ground marshalling using standard aviation signals.
Performs customer service activities such as helping customers with aircraft scheduling and fueling.
Assists with aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
Ensures all buildings and grounds are safe, clean and organized.
Conducts or assists with daily/weekly onsite safety inspections and audits of equipment and facility operations.

Be comfortable and physically able to work in an environment with frequent walking, stretching, bending, sitting, stooping, reaching, grasping, and climbing.
Be physically able to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis up to 50 lbs.
Have previous experience in line service or equivalent (strongly preferred, but not required).
Have a high school diploma or equivalent (strongly preferred, but not required).
Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Possess and maintain valid state drivers’ license.
May be required to maintain a valid state commercial drivers’ license (CDL) and certification requirements for operating material handling equipment as necessary.
- This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Work schedule will be flexible with mornings, nights and weekends included.
